Unrestricted Parking Zones

In areas where no permits or hourly zones are applicable, you can have your MEGABOX delivered directly to the street outside your front door, without the need for a council permit. Enjoy the convenience of hassle-free delivery!

Restricted Parking Zones

If parking is restricted outside your residence due to permit or hourly zones, we recommend considering the following options:

  • Wait Service: If you only require one MEGABOX, you can book a Wait Service. Our friendly MEGABOX drivers will patiently wait on-site for up to 30 minutes, completely free of charge, while you load or unload your MEGABOX.
  • Premium Service: Sit back and relax, let our removalist team load / unload your goods into a Megabox.
  • Obtain a Standard/Visitor Vehicle Permit: Reach out to your local council to obtain a standard or visitor vehicle permit. In most cases, these permits are available free of charge, though some councils may impose a fee. Simply follow these steps:
  • Contact your local council and request a short-term (e.g., daily, or weekly) standard temporary/visitor vehicle pass.
  • Choose to have the permit mailed to you or visit your local council office to collect it.
  • Once you receive your MEGABOX, carefully follow the instructions provided by your local council, which will include affixing the permit to your MEGABOX.

It is important to arrange your permit well in advance, as some councils may require up to 7 days or more to process your application. Please note that any fines incurred due to the absence of a permit will be passed on to customers at cost.
